My life, My love,

I truly love the things i have..
The people i spend my time with...
My family....

It's the people that know everything about me and are still here that make me feel loved It's also the people that lie and that are jerks that have made me the person that i am today It seems The more i love the more i hurt, The more i trust... The more i don't. I don't know what will happen next but i do know that what ever it is i will get through it. and i know that who ever is left well there the people that are supposed  to be there and I'm really ok with that. Because i don't need the people that make me put them before myself. I need the people that will put me before them With out me wanting them to. I really love my life and the people that are still here. I love my family and well i love them all very very much!

                                                       Enjoy your Lovely day!

Quote of the Month.

Yummy food Recipe--My Yellow Sand Box.

Abby from My Yellow Sand Box Said..Chicken Divan. Ever had it?   It was definitely a family favorite growing up.

Ingredients:

  • Stuffing mix and butter
  • Rice
  • 3-4 chicken breasts
  • 2 cans Cream of Broccoli Cheese
  • 1 thing of Broccoli.  Are they called heads?!
  • Monterey Jack Cheese

Start by boiling 3-4 chicken breasts.  Feel free to add some chicken broth in the water to make it taste saltier

Get your broccoli cut up and steaming.  Don't steam it too long because it's still going to cook in the oven.  You don't want mushy broccoli!

Start your rice

Dump your stuffing mix into a bowl and add some melted butter.  Like, 1/4 cup butter

Mix the butter and the stuffing together and set aside

Get out some milk, a can or 2 of Broccoli Cheese soup, a mixing bowl and an oblong baking dish

Open the cans of broccoli cheese soup and pour in your bowl.  Start with one can, see how far it gets you.  You can always add more.  Next, add some milk.  You want the mixture to be a little bit runny.

Now spread some of that mixture on the bottom of your baking dish and set the sauce aside

Cut up your chicken and add it to the top of your broccoli cheese soup mixture

Add your steamed broccoli

Pour the rest of your broccoli cheese soup mixture over the top of the broccoli and chicken

I usually sprinkle shredded Monterey Jack cheese on top of the Chicken Divan before I add the stuffing. It's preference though, good with or without it!  My family loves it, I just forgot to add it!

Bake in your oven at 350 until it's warm and bubbly.  Remember, everything is already cooked.  You've just got to brown the stuffing and get the cheese melted!

Serve on top of rice!

This looks so yummy!! I Will have to get my mom to make it!

Recipes I want to try....

Halloween Mix Recipe:From My Soul Is The Sky

4 cups of caramel popcorn
4 cups of Honey Nut Chex
2 cups of mini marshmallows
2 cups of candy corn
2 cups of reese's pieces
2 cups of candied peanuts
1 cup of Charleston Chews

I made this recipe completely gluten free so my friend R could enjoy it with us but anything can be substituted into this mix. I've seen it with chocolate covered pretzels, m&m's, and chocolate golden grahams. So just make it with your favorite treats! No glazing required :)

Red Lobster Biscuits:From My Soul Is The Sky

INGREDIENTS:
2 cups Bisquick baking mix
2/3 cup milk
1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
1/4 cup margarine or butter, melted
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder

PREPARATION:
Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.

Mix baking mix, milk and cheese until soft dough forms; beat vigorously for 30 seconds. Drop dough by spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes or until golden brown. Mix margarine and garlic powder; brush over warm biscuits before removing from cookie sheet. Serve warm.

Parmesan French Fries: from My Soul Is The Sky

Ingredients

4 large unpeeled russet potatoes, cut into 1/4-inch strips
1/4 cup olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 teaspoon ground dried thyme
1/4 teaspoon seasoned salt
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese, divided
1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 teaspoon seasoned salt (optional)

Directions

1.Preheat an oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).

2.Place the potatoes in a mixing bowl and drizzle with olive oil. Season with garlic, thyme, and 1/4 teaspoon seasoned salt. Toss until evenly coated. Lift the fries out of the bowl and spread onto a nonstick baking sheet in a single layer. Save the remaining oil in the bowl.

3.Bake in the preheated oven 30 minutes, flipping the fries halfway through baking. Return the fries to the bowl with the olive oil, sprinkle with 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese and parsley. Toss to coat, then spread again onto the baking sheet. Return to the oven, and bake until the Parmesan cheese melts, about 10 minutes. Sprinkle the fries with the remaining 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese and 1/4 teaspoon seasoned salt to serve.

French Onion Soup:From My Soul Is The Sky

Directions

Melt the stick of butter in a large pot over medium heat. Add the onions, garlic, bay leaves, thyme, and salt and pepper and cook until the onions are very soft and caramelized, about 25 minutes. Add the wine, bring to a boil, reduce the heat and simmer until the wine has evaporated and the onions are dry, about 5 minutes. Discard the bay leaves and thyme sprigs. Dust the onions with the flour and give them a stir. Turn the heat down to medium low so the flour doesn't burn, and cook for 10 minutes to cook out the raw flour taste. Now add the beef broth, bring the soup back to a simmer, and cook for 10 minutes. Season, to taste, with salt and pepper.

When you're ready to eat, preheat the broiler. Arrange the baguette slices on a baking sheet in a single layer. Sprinkle the slices with the Gruyere and broil until bubbly and golden brown, 3 to 5 minutes.

Ladle the soup in bowls and float several of the Gruyere croutons on top.

Alternative method: Ladle the soup into bowls, top each with 2 slices of bread and top with cheese. Put the bowls into the oven to toast the bread and melt the cheese.
